OSINT Researcher - BBC Eye Investigations. A year-long investigation has uncovered that tomato paste produced using forced labour in Xinjiang, western China, is likely being sold in major UK supermarkets without the knowledge of customers. The team used social media, satellite imagery and analysing corporate records and shipping data to understand what is really happening in Xinjiang - and how the tomatoes produced by harsh labour find their way to Europe.
BBC Eye - I used open-source investigation to track the obscure web of companies involved in harassing and abusing people to repay loans. I found the individuals profiting from the ruin of other people’s lives.
BBC Panorama - OSINT Researcher | This fast turnaround 30-minute film investigated the earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria. Panorama asks if more could have been done to save lives.
BBC News - OSINT Researcher | Displaced families in Syrian camps were begging for donations on TikTok while the company takes up to 70% of the proceeds.
